When you define mis and dis information it makes it so clear what has been happening and why so many people have been caught up by this and many are now afraid to realise they were wrong OR that they were lied to which is why they are wrong... Thank you.

So great! I have not understood post modernism. This is so helpful. And relating it to Queer theory, which I did discover as I research this gender hell. Thanks.

This is such a great article and breakdown of post-modernism/queer theory! When you were talking about cultural relativism I was struck by the thought that there is a germ of truth in the idea that our Western way of thinking should be criticized for what it doesn't recognise and the hidden assumptions inherent within it, eg. scientism: the belief that anything is false ('magical') which does not fit into the parameters of known and accepted scientific theory. There should be room to criticize but that is not what post-modernists are doing. They are like the iconclasts of ancient Constantinople or the Puritans of the English Civil War who went and smashed all the statues of the saints in all the churches and banned dancing.

Thank you LucyLeader for another great article. Language is our only tool to organize ourselves. We need to keep it as useful and effective as possible, and you certainly excel at that :)
